West Indian batsman Chris Gayle has announced retirement from One-day Internationals (ODI) after the ICC World Cup 2019. The 39-year old left-hander batsman has scored 9,727 ODI runs, second only to the legendary Brian Lara among West Indians in 284 matches. The World Cup will be held in England and Wales from 30th May to 14th July 2019.

Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma inaugurated the India’s first ‘fulldome 3D Digital Theatre’ at the Science City in Kolkata, West Bengal.
