Eight girls – Rina, Chandani, Nitu, Garima, Bhavana, Priyanka, Dipa & Minu are sitting in a row facing the South, but not necessarily in the same order. Each of the girls likes different colours – red, pink, seven-coloured, green, yellow, black, violet & blue but not necessarily in the same order.

One girl is sitting between the girls liking black & yellow. Bhavana is sitting third to the left of Nitu. The girls liking ping & black are the nearest neighbours of each other. The girl liking blue is sitting at the immediate right of the girl liking seven-coloured colour. Nitu is sitting at an extreme end of the row but does not like blue & green colour. Dipa & Nitu are the nearest neighbours of Priyanka. The girl liking green colour is sitting at the extreme end of row. The girl liking black colour is sitting at second to the right of a girl liking green & at the immediate right of Rina. Dipa doesn’t like green & not the nearest neighbour of Nitu. One girl is sitting between Nitu & a girl liking violet. Rina does not like pink & violet colours.
